
Kurigram Railway Station(Station)
Kurigram Railway Station is an important transport hub located in the municipal area of Kurigram Sadar Upazila.
Locally, it is known as 'Kurigram Station'.
It is situated about 2 kilometers from the main town, which can be easily reached by rickshaw or auto-rickshaw.
Geographically, it is located in the basin washed by the Teesta and Dharla rivers, serving as the backbone of the district's communication system.

Historically, various places in Kurigram have local names; for instance, 'Khejur-er Tol' in the city is called 'Shimultola', and Zia Bazar is known as 'Puratan Bazar'.
