These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of tiptopkurigram.com ("Platform"), operated by TipTop Kurigram ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law to use the Platform. By using it, you confirm that the information you provide is true and accurate.
2. Nature of the Service (Intermediary Only)
TipTop Kurigram is a digital service provider and intermediary platform. We provide technology that allows users to post and view listings, information, and community content. We are not a buyer, seller, employer, recruiter, landlord, tutor, or party to any transaction or agreement between users. We do not own, control, verify, or guarantee user content or any transaction.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. User Content and Conduct
You are solely responsible for the content you post (listings, posts, comments, images, reports, profile details). By posting, you confirm you have the right to do so and that the content is lawful, accurate, and not misleading. You agree not to:
post false, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or unlawful content;
impersonate others or provide false information;
post content that infringes others' intellectual property or privacy;
engage in scams, harassment, spam, or any activity prohibited by the laws of Bangladesh;
attempt to scrape, hack, overload, or disrupt the Platform.
You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute the content you submit, for the purpose of operating the Platform.
5. Transactions Between Users — Your Responsibility
All buy/sell, house-rent, used-item, tuition, job, and similar dealings are strictly between the users involved. We are not a party to them and take no responsibility for them. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any fraud, loss, damage, dispute, defective goods or services, non-payment, or misrepresentation arising from any such dealing. You deal with other users at your own risk and are responsible for your own verification and decisions.
6. Cooperation with Authorities
While we are not liable for user conduct, we will cooperate with lawful legal action and investigations and may provide available data (such as account and activity records) to law-enforcement authorities, courts, or government bodies in response to a valid legal request.
7. Our Rights to Moderate, Edit, and Remove Content
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, to: review, moderate, edit, hide, or remove any content; reject or take down any listing or post; suspend, restrict, or terminate any account; and remove content that we believe violates these Terms, is unlawful, is reported, or is otherwise objectionable. We are not obligated to monitor content but may do so. The removal or editing of content does not make us responsible for content we did not remove.
8. Third-Party and Aggregated Content; Intellectual Property; Takedown
The Platform may display headlines, summaries, references, or videos relating to news and public information from newspapers, TV channels, and social media about the Kurigram region. Such content belongs to its original publishers and is not presented as ours; each item links to the original source. The TipTop Kurigram name, logo, and original Platform content are our property. If you are a rights-holder and believe content has been used without authorization, send a notice to [email protected] and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it promptly.
9. Cookies, Data, and Third-Party Services
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, including our use of cookies. By using the Platform you consent to the data practices described there. We use Google reCAPTCHA on certain forms (such as login, registration, password reset, and contact) and offer optional Google Sign-In; your use of these Google services is subject to Google's own terms.
10. Promotions, Verification, and Paid Features
Where we offer paid features (such as promoted listings or verification badges), additional terms and fees may apply, and they will be described at the point of purchase. A verification badge indicates a process step completed on our Platform and is not an absolute guarantee of any user's identity, conduct, or trustworthiness.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Bangladesh, TipTop Kurigram, its owners, and team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform or from any dealings with other users. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the minimum permitted.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TipTop Kurigram, its owners, and team from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Platform, your dealings with other users, or your breach of these Terms or of any law.
13. Unavoidable Events and Data Loss
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not liable for any interruption, unavailability, data loss, or data corruption caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including server crashes, cyber-attacks, power failures, natural disasters, floods, war, or other force-majeure events.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Platform at any time.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to applicable law.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
