About the Institute
Bachra Azizia Alim Madrasa is a traditional educational institution in Rajarhat Upazila of Kurigram district. The madrasa was established in 1952 with the dedicated efforts of local educationists and religious people. Established on about 3 acres of land, this institution is well known in the area for its pleasant environment and disciplined education. The ancient architectural mosque and the large playground located in the courtyard of the madrasa are one of the most spectacular things here, which help the students in their creative development outside the textbooks.
Currently, the institution is teaching a combination of modern and religious education from Ebtedayi to Alim level. Students are being provided with age-appropriate education through multimedia classrooms, rich libraries and science laboratories. Regular creative talent testing and co-educational activities are conducted here under the supervision of skilled and experienced teachers, which play a special role in the acquisition of moral and human qualities of the students.
The distance of this madrasa from the main city of Kurigram is about 15 kilometers. It is easily accessible by road from Rajarhat Upazila Sadar. Due to the well-developed communication system, students from far and wide come here every day to study. Many of the alumni of this institution are currently playing an important role in the service of the country and the nation, which bears the signature of the long-standing glorious tradition of this madrasa.
