Bhogdanga Model College

‘Bhogdanga Model College’ located in Bhogdanga Union of Kurigram Sadar Upazila has been playing an important role in the expansion of education in this area. The college was established in 1995 with the dedicated efforts of local educationists and social workers. Established on about 2.5 acres of land, this institution is known for its pleasant and peaceful environment. The college is surrounded by green trees and cropland, which has created an ideal and serene environment for the students to study. Currently, the college is conducting teaching activities in a modern and creative manner. Under the supervision of an experienced teaching team, teaching is conducted in a digital manner through multimedia projectors in addition to regular classes. There is an opportunity to teach in the humanities, business education and science departments in classes XI and XII. In addition, regular debate competitions, sports festivals and cultural programs are organized for the development of the students' talent, which has made the institution a model educational institution at the local level. The distance of the college from the main city of Kurigram is about 7-8 kilometers. Since the Kurigram-Bhogdanga road is quite developed for transportation, it can be easily reached here by auto-rickshaw or motorcycle. Although the name of any person of national fame has not emerged from this institution, many students who have passed from here are currently serving the country and the nation by being engaged in various high-ranking government and private jobs in the country.
