Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET), Gazipur is one of the leading engineering universities in Bangladesh. This institution, which started its journey as a ‘College of Engineering and Technology’ in 1980, was transformed into a full-fledged university in 2013. The distance from Kurigram to Duet is about 330 kilometers. From Kurigram, one can reach Gazipur intersection by direct bus or train via Dhaka, from where it is easy to reach the campus by rickshaw or auto-rickshaw. Since the transportation system is quite developed, students from different parts of the country can easily travel here.
