Eastern University

Eastern University is a well-known name in the field of private higher education in Bangladesh.

Established in 2003, this university is located in South Badda, Dhaka. Since its establishment, it has been working with the aim of providing quality education. Although there were some limitations in the beginning, the university is currently ensuring modern facilities for students through its own campus. In recent times, the university has taken various initiatives to strengthen its position in research and academic rankings, which has made the institution more acceptable to higher education aspirants. The academic activities of the university are mainly conducted under five faculties, including the departments of Business Administration, Engineering and Technology, Law, Arts and Social Sciences, and Pharmacy. In teaching here, special emphasis is given to practical experience along with theoretical knowledge. Teaching is done here under the supervision of modern laboratories, rich libraries, and skilled teaching staff. In addition, the teaching process has been made more up-to-date with the combination of digital platforms and online resources according to the needs of the present time. Many talented and distinguished personalities of the country are involved in the path of Eastern University. Many educationists and intellectuals of the country have been associated with the Board of Trustees and Academic Advisory Board of this university at different times. In particular, renowned educationist and national professor Dr. Jamilur Reza Chowdhury was associated with this university as an advisor, which played an important role in maintaining the academic standards and transparency of the institution. The involvement of a distinguished person like him has further strengthened the institutional prestige and moral foundation of the university.
