Gaibandha Government Girls High School is not just an educational institution for me, but the best place to grow up. Established in 1885, this school is located in the heart of Gaibandha city and has been a beacon of women's education for more than a century. Even amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, I feel a strange sense of peace as soon as I step into the school grounds. The beautiful old-fashioned buildings, playgrounds and shady surroundings of trees are witnesses to the golden memories of our childhood and adolescence. There are many achievements in the glorious history of this school. In sports, debate competitions or cultural activities, the students of our school have always left their mark of excellence at the district and national levels. This institution has indebted us not only for textbooks, but also for the education of values and patriotism. Many students like me have taken education from this school and are working successfully in different parts of the country and abroad today. In particular, former Education Minister and prominent politician Late Dr. M. This school, which is associated with the memories of many other distinguished personalities including Osman Faruk, is a great inspiration for us. Currently, this school has been touched by modern technology-based education. Teaching activities are conducted with great sincerity under the supervision of skilled and experienced teachers. Students are now learning much more actively through creative methods and digital classrooms. Along with maintaining the continuity of academic results, co-curricular activities are also given equal importance here. Even today, when I pass by the city, the sound of the school bell brings back memories of the old days. I can proudly say that I am an alumnus of this school—from which I not only got a certificate, but also the confidence to live with my head held high.
