Located in Hakimpur Upazila of Dinajpur district, ‘Hakimpur Government Degree College’ is known as the beacon of higher education in the region.

The college was established in 1984 with the dedicated efforts of local educationists and locals. This institution, located near the Hili border, is spread over about 4 acres of land. After a long journey, the college gained government status in 2016, which has opened a new horizon in the expansion of education in this area. Currently, it is operating with a good reputation as one of the most important educational institutions affiliated to the National University.
