Kamal Khamar Fazil (Degree) Madrasah

‘Kamal Khamar Fazil (Degree) Madrasa’ is a traditional educational institution in Ulipur Upazila of Kurigram District. The Madrasa was established with the dedicated efforts of local educationists and religious people. It is known as an important educational center in Ulipur Upazila. Geographically, it is located in a quiet and pleasant environment, surrounded by green trees and farmland. The campus of this institution, spread over about a few acres of land, is quite spacious and very suitable for the study of students. Currently, the Madrasa is conducting teaching programs combining modern and Islamic education. Educational programs are being conducted here from Ebtedayi to Fazil (Degree) level. Regular classes, examinations and co-curricular activities are conducted here under the supervision of skilled and experienced teachers. Efforts are being made to make students proficient in modern technology through multimedia classrooms and computer labs with the aim of building a digital Bangladesh. The Madrasa’s own library and playground play an important role in the intellectual and physical development of students. The distance from this institution to the main city of Kurigram is about 15-20 kilometers. Road is the main means of transportation; one can easily reach the madrasa from Kurigram city via Ulipur by bus, auto rickshaw or CNG. Since the communication system is fairly developed, students and guardians do not have to face any difficulty in traveling. Many students who have received education from this institution are currently engaged in various important positions in the service of the country and the nation, which has increased the glory of this madrasa.
