Kanthalbari Degree College

‘Kathalbari Degree College’ located in Sadar Upazila of Kurigram district is a beacon of higher education in the region. The college was established in 1994 with the dedicated efforts of local educationists and social workers. Spread over about 3.5 acres of land, this institution is located in Kanthalbari Union, about 8 kilometers west of Kurigram Sadar. This campus with a beautiful and peaceful environment has a large playground, a well-groomed garden and modern architectural academic buildings, which have created an ideal environment for students to study. Currently, the college offers undergraduate (pass) courses under the National University as well as higher secondary level courses in science, humanities and business education. Teaching activities are being conducted here in multimedia classrooms and digital methods under the supervision of experienced teachers. The institution is working tirelessly to develop the talent of students through regular classes, tutorial examinations and co-curricular activities. It can be easily reached by bus, auto rickshaw or own transport via the Kurigram-Rangpur highway. Due to the ease of communication, hundreds of students from far and wide come here every day to gain knowledge. Kanthalbari Degree College has been playing an important role in increasing the education rate at the local level and providing opportunities for higher education to students from backward villages.
