Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET)

Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) is one of the best engineering education institutions in the southwestern part of Bangladesh. Starting its journey as 'Khulna Engineering College' in 1967, the institution became 'Bangladesh Institute of Technology (BIT), Khulna' in 1986 and later emerged as a full-fledged public university in 2003. This campus is located in a beautiful environment surrounded by greenery on about 101 acres of land in the Phulbari Gate area of Khulna metropolis. Inside the campus, the administrative building of a beautiful architectural style, the central Shaheed Minar, a spacious library and various faculty buildings create a unique aesthetic. Currently, KUET is conducting undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various branches of engineering and technology on a semester basis. Here, special emphasis is given to hands-on education in modern laboratories and research laboratories under various engineering faculties including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic, Computer Science. Under the supervision of skilled teachers, there is a continuous effort to achieve innovative research and technological excellence. In addition, there are endless opportunities for students to develop creatively through various clubs and cultural organizations. The distance between KUET and the heart of Khulna city is about 12-13 kilometers. From the city's Zero Point or Shibbari intersection, one can easily travel to the campus by bus, auto-rickshaw or own transport. Many of KUET's alumni are making important contributions to the engineering and technology sectors in the country and abroad. In particular, the role of KUET graduates in the country's infrastructural development and technological revolution is highly commendable. All in all, KUET is not just an educational institution, but it is a unique craftsman for producing skilled engineers.
