Lalmonirhat Government College, located in the heart of Lalmonirhat city, is a beacon of higher education in North Bengal. Established in 1964, this educational institution has been satisfying the thirst for knowledge of the people of the Teesta and Dharla regions for more than six decades. This college, which was established with the outstanding efforts of local educationists and philanthropists at the beginning of its establishment, has today become a huge majesty. Situated in the beautiful and peaceful environment of Lalmonirhat Sadar Upazila city, as soon as you enter this campus, you will immediately see a peaceful environment surrounded by the shade of green trees, which creates a great atmosphere for students to study. Currently, the college offers classes in various subjects at the higher secondary level as well as undergraduate (pass) and honors (honors) courses under the National University.
