About the Institute
Maulana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU) was established in 1999 in Santosh, Tangail district. Named after the oppressed public leader Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani, this public university is well known for its education and research. This campus of about 73 acres is located in a beautiful and peaceful environment on the outskirts of Tangail city. The Mazar Sharif of Maulana Bhashani is located within the campus, which has given the institution a unique spiritual and historical status.
Currently, the university is teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in a modern system under the faculties of Engineering, Science, Business Education and Social Sciences.
