Monipur High School & College

Manipur High School and College is one of the largest and most traditional educational institutions in Dhaka.

This school started its journey in 1959 in the Manipur area of Mirpur on the initiative of local educationists and social workers. Although it initially operated in a small tin room, over time it has become a huge educational complex. Currently, the institution has several branches in different areas of Mirpur, which are the centers of knowledge for thousands of students. Although it is located in Mirpur-2 in terms of geographical location, its vast infrastructure and orderly environment are always at the top of the list of choices for students and guardians. In recent years, the institution has been repeatedly praised at the national level for its consistent success in public examinations. In terms of academic activities, Manipur High School and College follows a very disciplined and modern method. Teaching is provided here from pre-primary to 12th grade. In addition to textbook education, the institution gives special importance to developing the creativity and morality of students. A modern learning environment has been ensured through digital classrooms, rich libraries and science laboratories. Due to the close supervision of the teachers and regular assessment system, the students here have always achieved enviable results in the JSC, SSC and HSC examinations. Many talented people have contributed to the long journey of this institution. However, the name behind bringing the institution to its current position is particularly noteworthy, that of the late Professor M. Farhad Hossain. He served as the principal of this institution for a long time and under his strong leadership and visionary planning, the school has become a quality educational institution.
