About the Institute
Naodanga High School and College is a traditional educational institution in Phulbari Upazila of Kurigram District. Established in 1901, this school has been working tirelessly for more than a hundred years to spread the light of education in this region. Geographically, it is located in Naodanga Union of Phulbari Upazila. Spread over about 5 acres of land, this campus has a large playground, a well-groomed garden and a touch of ancient architecture. Next to the school are the ruins of the historic Naodanga Zamindar House, which has given a unique aesthetic to the environment of the institution.
Currently, the institution is conducting teaching activities in a modern and creative manner. Under the supervision of a team of skilled and experienced teachers, science, humanities and business education branches are taught here at the secondary and higher secondary levels. Hands-on learning opportunities have been ensured for students through multimedia classrooms, a rich library and a science lab. Scouting, debate competitions and annual sports competitions are organized here as part of co-curricular activities, which are playing a helpful role in the intellectual development of the students.
The distance of this institution from Kurigram district town is about 20 kilometers. It can be easily reached by road via bus, auto rickshaw or CNG via Phulbari. Since the transportation system is fairly developed, students can travel regularly from far and wide. Over a long journey, this educational institution has maintained its position as a bright star on the educational map of Kurigram.
