Anantapur Dakhil Madrasa

Anantapur Dakhil Madrasa is a traditional educational institution in Phulbari Upazila of Kurigram district. It was established in approximately 1984 with the dedicated efforts of local educationists and social workers. The madrasa is located in Shimulbari Union of Phulbari Upazila and is spread over an area of about 1.5 acres. Located in a rural green environment, this institution is surrounded by trees and cropland, which ensures a peaceful and pleasant environment for the students to study. Currently, the teaching program is being conducted in the madrasa combining modern and religious education. The Dakhil level curriculum from class VI to X is followed here under the supervision of skilled and experienced teachers. Efforts are being made to provide digital education to the students through ICT labs and multimedia classrooms. The institution is working tirelessly to develop the talent of the students through regular classes, weekly examinations and co-curricular activities. The distance of this institution from Kurigram district headquarters is about 15-18 kilometers. It can be easily reached from Kurigram city via a bus to Phulbari or CNG via Shimulbari. The transportation system is quite developed, making it very convenient for students and parents. Although this institution has not produced any very famous people at the national level, many students who have passed from here are currently contributing to the development of the country by holding various important positions in the government and private sectors.
