Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST)

Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUBST) is one of the public universities in Bangladesh, established in 2001 and starting its academic activities in 2008. This campus, located in the heart of Pabna city, is spread over an area of about 30 acres. The architecture and natural environment of this campus, located on the banks of the Ichamati River, are very beautiful, which has created an excellent learning environment for students. Currently, the university is teaching in various departments under 5 faculties in a modern and up-to-date manner. Educational activities are conducted here in the semester system and special emphasis is given to research. Under the supervision of laboratory facilities, central library and skilled teachers, students are working tirelessly to achieve their academic skills. In addition, students are provided with hands-on learning opportunities through various national and international seminars and workshops. The distance of this university from the main city of Pabna is only a few kilometers, so it is easy to travel to the campus by rickshaw or auto-rickshaw from any part of the city. Pabna city is well connected to other parts of the country by road, so the transportation system for students is quite convenient. The Shaheed Minar, Mukta Mancha and various sculptures inside the campus have increased its beauty many times over. Many renowned educationists and researchers of the country are associated with this university, who are taking the institution forward with their talent and hard work. Although it is a new university, it has been able to strengthen its position on the map of higher education in the country in a short time. The opportunities for creative development of students are also open here through regular cultural activities and sports competitions.
