Phulbari Degree College

Phulbari Degree College is a traditional educational institution in Phulbari Upazila of Kurigram district. The college was established in 1986 with the dedicated efforts of local educationists and social workers. It is located in the heart of Phulbari Upazila Sadar and is spread over about 3 acres of land. The college is surrounded by green trees and a beautiful environment, which provides a calm and serene environment for students to study. Currently, the college offers undergraduate (pass) and higher secondary level courses under the National University. As part of the modern teaching method, it has multimedia classrooms and a rich library. Under the supervision of experienced teachers, work is being done to develop the talent of the students through regular classes, tutorial tests and practical classes. In addition, debate competitions and sports festivals are organized as co-curricular activities. The distance of this college from Kurigram district town is about 20 kilometers. From the district town, Phulbari Upazila Sadar can be easily reached by bus, auto-rickshaw or CNG. Due to the improved communication system, hundreds of students from far and wide come here every day to study. Many of the alumni of this institution are currently serving the country and the nation as high-ranking officials in the government and private sectors.
