Rajibpur Government College is a traditional educational institution located in Char Rajibpur Upazila of Kurigram district. The college was established in 1972 with the dedicated efforts of local educationists and esteemed personalities. The institution has been working as a beacon for a long time to fulfill the dreams of higher education of the people of this town surrounded by char areas. Geographically, it is located in the Brahmaputra River basin, which has made its natural environment unique and beautiful. The distance from Kurigram district headquarters to Rajibpur upazila is about 70-80 kilometers. In terms of transportation, the use of waterways as well as roads is very important, because one has to cross the Brahmaputra River to reach here. During the rainy season, waterways become the main means of communication. Although transportation is somewhat challenging due to geographical isolation, this college is working tirelessly to spread the light of education.
