Rajibpur Women College

Rajibpur Women's College is a unique beacon for the promotion of women's education in Char Rajibpur Upazila of Kurigram district. The college was established in 1995 with the dedicated efforts of local educationists and social workers. Located in the Brahmaputra River basin, this institution is spread over about 2 acres of land. Its beautiful campus and lush green environment create a calm and serene atmosphere for the students to study. Currently, the college is teaching at the higher secondary and undergraduate levels. Multimedia classrooms and information technology-based teaching methods are followed here with the aim of building a digital Bangladesh. Under the supervision of experienced teachers, work is being done to develop the talent of the students through regular classes, tutorial examinations and co-curricular activities. In addition, the facilities of the library and science center play a supportive role in the academic excellence of the students. The distance of this institution from Kurigram district headquarters is about 70 kilometers. Both road and waterways are used for transportation, but waterways are the main means of transportation during the rainy season. Despite being located in a remote pastoral area, this college has been making a significant contribution to increasing the rate of female education. Although this institution has a good reputation at the local level, it is mainly known as a hidden artisan of women's awakening at the grassroots level rather than the direct involvement of any famous personality at the national level.
