Rowmari Degree College

Roumari Government College is a traditional educational institution located in Roumari Upazila of Kurigram district. The college was established in 1986 with the dedicated efforts of local educationists and people and later it gained government status. Established on about 5 acres of land, this college is known as the main center of higher education in Roumari and Rajibpur Upazilas. The pleasant environment and well-organized infrastructure of the college campus have created an ideal environment for the students to study. Currently, the college is offering higher secondary as well as graduation (pass) and honors courses in various subjects. Multimedia classrooms and a rich library are being used here as part of the modern teaching method. The distance of this college from Kurigram district headquarters is about 70 kilometers. Road is the main means of transportation, which connects Roumari Upazila with the district headquarters. Geographically, it is located in the Brahmaputra River basin, so the natural scenery around it is very beautiful. Many talented students who have studied in this institution are currently serving in various important government and private positions in the country, which has further enhanced the glory of the college.
