University of Asia Pacific (UAP)

The University of Asia Pacific (UAP) started its journey as a private higher education institution on Green Road, Dhaka in 1996. It currently operates its own permanent campus near Farmgate, Dhaka. Built in a modern architectural style, this campus is known for its aesthetic design and eco-friendly structure. Being located in the heart of the city, it is very convenient for students to travel. Currently, the university offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various subjects including civil engineering, computer science, pharmacy, law and business administration. Here, emphasis is placed on hands-on learning through modern laboratories, rich libraries and multimedia classrooms. Through skilled teaching panels and industry-academia collaboration, students are being prepared for the real workplace. It is worth noting that this institution does not have a direct branch from the Kurigram district town, so students coming to study here from Kurigram have to come to Dhaka and arrange accommodation. However, due to the developed communication system of Dhaka city, reaching this campus in Farmgate is quite easy. Many of the alumni of this university are currently holding important positions in renowned institutions at home and abroad, which reflects the quality of education provided by the institution.
