Anwara is an upazila of the Chattogram district in Bangladesh, located to the south of Chattogram city on the southern bank of the Karnaphuli River.
The place is known for the Korean EPZ, KAFCO, and the historic Parkir Math.

Major commercial centers and busy areas of Anwara Upazila include Bottoli Mazar Gate, Chatori Choumuhani, and Anwara Sadar Bazar. The Korean Export Processing Zone (KEPZ), located here, is one of the country's major industrial zones. This upazila, situated along the banks of the Karnaphuli River, also features several chars and flood-prone areas.
Historic and notable landmarks in this upazila include Parkir Math, the shrine of Hazrat Shah Mohsen Auliya, and Bibi Miriam Mosque. There are also various historical mementos from the Liberation War here.

Anwara can be easily reached from Chattogram city by road using buses, CNGs, or private vehicles after crossing the Shah Amanat Bridge. Additionally, boats and ferries are available for crossing the Karnaphuli River.
