BanshkhaliBanshkhali(Upazila)
Banshkhali is an upazila under Chattogram District in Bangladesh, located about 45 kilometers south of the Chattogram district headquarters.
The place is specially known for its long sea beach, Banshkhali Eco-park, and salt production.

The upazila is bounded by the Bay of Bengal and Kutubdia Channel on the west, Chandanaish and Lohagara upazilas and Bandarban district on the east, Anwara upazila on the north, and Pekua upazila on the south. The Sangu River is one of the main rivers of this upazila. Additionally, there are vast chars and saline lands in the coastal areas.
There are several important markets and commercial centers in this upazila, among which Chambal Bazar, Banshkhali Upazila Sadar Bazar, and Gunagari Bazar are prominent. Commercially, salt cultivation and fishing play an important role in the local economy.
The main mode of transport to Banshkhali is by road. It can be reached from Chattogram city by bus or CNG-driven auto-rickshaw via Patiya-Anwara or Karnaphuli. Water transport is also available for river crossings.
