Begumganj Union(Union)

Begamganj Union is an important administrative area in the Ulipur Upazila of Kurigram district.

Situated in the basin of the Teesta and Brahmaputra rivers, it is a geographically river-erosion-prone and silt-rich region.

It is located approximately 20-25 kilometers from Kurigram district town, accessible by road via Ulipur.

Locally, many areas of this union are known as settlements centered around 'Begamganj Bazar'.
