Bhurungamari Upazila is an administrative area of Kurigram District, Bangladesh. Location and Area Bhurungamari Upazila is located in the northeastern part of Kurigram District. It is spread over 26°20' to 26°14' North latitude and 89°36' to 89°48' East longitude. Its area is 231.70 square kilometers. It is bordered by West Bengal and Assam in India to the north; Nageshwari Upazila in the south, Assam in India to the east, and West Bengal in India to the west.
