The area known as the heart or zero point of Dinajpur city primarily revolves around the 'Modern Mor' or 'Jail Road Mor'.

Located in the Dinajpur Sadar Upazila, this bustling area serves as the city's main commercial and administrative hub.

Geographically, it is situated on the flat plains of the Ghagra River basin, which is historically part of the Barind region.
