Jadurchar Union(Union)

Jadurchar Union is an important administrative region of Rowmari Upazila in Kurigram district.

Geographically, it is located in the basin of the Brahmaputra River, which often makes the area prone to river erosion during the monsoon season.

It is approximately 60-70 kilometers away from Kurigram district town; road and waterways via the Rowmari Upazila headquarters are the primary means of transportation.

Locally, this region is often known as a settlement centered around 'Jadurchar Bazar'.

Notable establishments in this union include Jadurchar High School and various religious places of worship.

The local economy is primarily dependent on agriculture and fishing.

Although no nationally famous person was born in this region, it holds special historical significance as part of the liberated zone of Rowmari under Sector 11 during the Great Liberation War.
