Kumira Union is a union under Sitakunda Upazila of Chattogram District in Bangladesh.
It is located beside the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway and is known for the Kumira Ghat and its role as a major maritime communication hub for traveling to Sandwip.

As the Bay of Bengal lies to the west of Kumira Union, it features the Kumira coastal area and marine fish wholesale markets. The Kumira-Guptachhara Ghat is a very important waterway communication center for traveling to Sandwip. Additionally, the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway and railway pass through this area.
Notable educational institutions in the Kumira area include Kumira Residential School and College and Kumira Multilateral High School. For healthcare, there is the Kumira Sub-Centre.
For transportation, Kumira can be directly reached by bus from Dhaka or Chattogram via road. Alternatively, one can travel by train from Chattogram or Dhaka and get down at the Kumira railway station. Water transport is also available from Kumira Ghat to travel to Sandwip.
