
Nawdanga union(Union)
Naodanga Union is an important administrative region of Phulbari Upazila in Kurigram district, situated in the basin of the Dharla River.
Geographically, it is known as a flat and agriculture-based area.
It is located approximately 20-25 kilometers from Kurigram district town, and can be easily reached by road via CNG or autorickshaw.
Among the notable structures in this union is the historic Naodanga Zamindar Bari, locally known as 'Naodanga Rajbari', which is the main tourist attraction of the area.
This traditional settlement was once known as 'Naodanga Pargana'.
The lifestyle of the people here is simple, and agriculture is the foundation of their economy.
Although this area is not directly connected to any major city, its communication system with the Phulbari Upazila headquarters is quite well-developed.
Currently, this union is attractive to local tourists for its natural beauty and historical landmarks.
