Parki Sea Beach has gained recognition mainly as an alternative and less crowded beach compared to Patenga. The length of this beach is about 15 kilometers. On one side, it features the blue waters of the Bay of Bengal, and on the other, rows of Casuarina (jhaw) trees, making it an excellent getaway for tourists.
Here, visitors can enjoy walking on the sandy beach, watching red crabs scuttling around, and riding speedboats to cruise over the ocean waves. The small shops lined up along the beach offer local fried sea fish and various snacks. Among the notable nearby places are the historical Kalabibir Dighi and the estuary of the Karnaphuli River.
To reach Parki Sea Beach from Chattogram city, one first needs to cross the Karnaphuli River via the Shah Amanat Bridge or from Patenga. Taking a bus, CNG-auto-rickshaw, or private car from city locations like GEC Circle, Chawkbazar, or Kotwali to Anwara Upazila headquarters, one can easily take a rickshaw or CNG directly to the beach. It is also possible to cross the Karnaphuli River by boat or water bus from Patenga and reach the beach directly.
