Patenga Sea Beach is located in Patenga, under the Chittagong City Corporation.
It is one of the most popular and busiest sea beaches in Bangladesh, situated at the mouth of the Karnaphuli River, about 14 kilometers south of Chittagong city.

Patenga Sea Beach is primarily a natural beach located on the shores of the Bay of Bengal and the estuary of the Karnaphuli River. Its main attractions include the views of crashing sea waves, concrete boulder embankments, and scenic sunset views. There is a walkway for visitors along the shore. Speedboat rides are available for tourists to cruise around the sea. The area adjacent to the beach is well-known for local street foods, especially fried crabs, dried fish, and various marine fish delicacies. The Bangladesh Naval Academy and Shah Amanat International Airport are located nearby.
Patenga Sea Beach can be easily reached from any part of Chittagong by bus, CNG-driven auto-rickshaw, or private car. Direct transport to Patenga is available from Zero Point or GEC Circle.
