Patiya is an upazila in the Chattogram district of Bangladesh, located about 20 kilometers south of the Chattogram district headquarters.
The place is known for its ancient settlement, historical figures, and delicious guavas.

Patiya is known for its educational and healthcare sectors. It is home to Patiya Government College, Patiya Adarsha High School, and several other ancient educational institutions.
For transportation, Patiya has both road and rail communication systems. It can be easily accessed from Chattogram city by road using buses or CNG autorickshaws, and by train via the Chattogram-Dohazari railway line.
