Pomra Union is a union located under Rangunia Upazila in Chattogram District of Bangladesh.
It is situated approximately to the south-west of the Rangunia Upazila headquarters on the bank of the Karnaphuli River and is known for its traditional education, culture, and natural beauty.

Pomra Union is an important locality in Rangunia Upazila. As the Karnaphuli River flows beside the area, the river holds special significance for local communication and agriculture. Although this region along the bank of the Karnaphuli is prone to river erosion and flooding, its soil is fertile.
There are several old educational institutions and religious structures in this area that have been contributing to the educational and social development of the local people. Pomra Jameul Ulum Fazil Madrasah is one of the main and oldest religious educational institutions in this region.
Both road and waterways are used for transportation to Pomra Union. It can be easily accessed from Chattogram city or Rangunia Upazila headquarters by buses, CNG autos, or other vehicles via roads. Besides, river communication through crossing the Karnaphuli River is also prevalent.
