Ramkhana Union(Union)

Ramkhana Union is an important administrative region of Nageshwari Upazila in Kurigram district.

Geographically, it is situated in the basin of the Dudhkumar River, which has made the region fertile and agriculture-based.

It is located approximately 25-30 kilometers from Kurigram district town, and can be easily reached by bus or CNG via road.

Although the area is not known by any alternative name locally, its rural environment and traditional markets are quite well-known.

Among the notable places in the union are the natural scenery along the banks of the Dudhkumar River and some local ancient mosques and temples.

Ramkhana High School and various government primary schools are playing an important role in the spread of education here.

In this agriculture-based region, there is immense potential for fish farming alongside the cultivation of paddy, jute, and vegetables.
