Raozan Upazila is an administrative area in Chattogram District of Bangladesh, located to the north and northeast of Chattogram sadar near the Karnaphuli River.
It is known for its rich history, heritage, and as the birthplace of politically conscious and cultural personalities.

Flowing past the Raozan Upazila is the Karnaphuli River, which plays a vital role in the communication and economy of this region. The area also features a diverse topography of hilly terrain and plains.
This upazila houses historical structures such as the Gahira Bir Ujbayesh Khan Jame Mosque and various sites bearing memories of the Liberation War of 1971. Among the main commercial centers and markets are Gahira Bazar, Noapara Bazar, and Raozan Sadar Bazar.
For education, the region features Raozan College, Kundeshwari Girls' College, and several ancient and renowned secondary schools and madrasas. For healthcare, there is the Raozan Upazila Health Complex.
Raozan is easily accessible from Chattogram city by road using buses and other vehicles. Additionally, the Karnaphuli waterway has historically been and continues to be used for travel and transportation of goods.
This region is the birthplace of many notable personalities, including the renowned sub-continental politician A. K. Khan, social reformer Purna Chandra Sen, and various musicians and artists.
