Flowing past and through Sikalbaha Union are the important Karnafuli River and Sikalbaha River. Being a riverine area, it features both fishing and water-route-centric activities alongside its regular settlements.
Several important industrial and commercial establishments have developed in this area. Among them, the Sikalbaha Power Station is a well-known installation. Various small and large markets and commercial activities operate throughout this locality situated along the banks of the Karnafuli.
By road, the union is easily accessible from Chattogram city or various parts of Karnafuli Upazila. It can be reached by road after crossing the Shah Amanat Bridge.
