Vulli Badh(Dam)

The 'Bhulli Dam', located in the Bhulli area of Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila, is also known to the locals as 'Bhulli Bandh'.

Originally built on the Bhulli River to facilitate irrigation and water management, this dam has now become one of the most popular recreational spots in the district.

Geographically, it is situated about 15 kilometers away from Thakurgaon town.

Muhammad Enamul Haq, who is celebrated nationwide for his literary contributions, is deeply rooted in the soil and people of this region.

Recently, with the initiative of the local administration and public representatives, seating areas have been constructed and beautification work has been carried out around the dam to make it more tourist-friendly.

With improved transportation, tourists from outside the district can now easily visit to spend time in this quiet and serene environment.
