The journey that began in 2001 under the leadership of BRAC founder Sir Fazle Hasan Abed is today a shining star on the map of higher education in the country. Our campus, located in the heart of Dhaka, is like a dream beyond the walls of bricks and stones. The open-minded environment here, the unlimited opportunities for students to practice their creativity, and the vitality in every corner still make me nostalgic. BRAC University has always been uncompromising in terms of academic excellence. Today, the teaching method here is very modern and timely, where special emphasis is given to practical education along with theoretical knowledge. State-of-the-art laboratories, rich libraries, and various clubs and forums dedicated to enhancing the skills of students prepare us for our working lives. Especially the friendly and cooperative relationship between the students and the teachers here creates an extraordinary learning environment. In addition, the university's own research and innovative projects have repeatedly glorified our name in the international arena. The success story of BRAC University has the touch of many talented people. The Chancellor and members of the Board of Trustees of our university are always determined to ensure an education-friendly environment. Walking in the corridors of our campus, we would occasionally see the country's renowned educationists and intellectuals. In particular, the humanitarian philosophy and visionary thinking of Sir Fazle Hasan Abed have always inspired us. Today, when I look back as an alumnus, my heart is filled with pride that I am part of an institution that not only offers degrees, but also develops a unique mindset to work for the welfare of the country and the world.
