High School, founded in 1895 in Notun Shahar, Kurigram Sadar, is a prominent, long-standing, and academically successful secondary educational institutiKurigram Government High School is an ancient and traditional educational institution located in College Para of Sadar Upazila of Kurigram district. In 1895, this school started its journey on a vast area of ​​7.6 acres under the name of 'Kurigram High English School' by Bireshwar Roy. After spreading the light of education for a long time, the institution was made official on 15 November 1968. Although teaching was conducted in a tin shed at the beginning, the school currently has a picturesque multi-storey building, a rich library, science and state-of-the-art computer labs, a large playground and a hostel with 35 seats for distant students. It is basically a leading boys' high school in the district, where teaching is currently conducted in Bengali medium from class VI to X according to the national curriculum. Due to the large number of students, teaching activities are being conducted in the school in two shifts - 'Morning' and 'Day' - in the science, humanities and business education branches.
