Comilla University

Comilla University is one of the public universities in Bangladesh established in 2006. It is located on about 50 acres of land at the foot of Lalmai Hills in the Kotbari area of Comilla. Surrounded by natural beauty, this campus is rich in various historical and archaeological monuments including the Shalban Vihar, which has given it a unique look. The architecture of the university and the academic buildings located on the slopes of the hill are a great attraction for visitors. Currently, the university is offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in 19 departments under different faculties. A modern and up-to-date curriculum is followed here, where special emphasis is given to regular classes, laboratory activities and research through the semester system. Under the supervision of skilled teachers, students are working tirelessly to acquire practical skills along with theoretical knowledge. The distance from the university to the main city of Comilla is about 8 kilometers. The campus can be easily reached from the city by CNG, auto-rickshaw or own transport. Since the transportation system is quite developed, students can travel easily. Although this institution has not yet had any nationally renowned individuals directly identified as teachers or students, its alumni are enhancing the reputation of the university by making important contributions to various public and private sectors of the country.
